Patrick O'Donovan

Patrick is a Managing Director, Complex Manager with Raymond James & Associates, in the firm’s Carmel office. He has the responsibility of overseeing the Indiana Market for Raymond James, as well as serving the financial planning and investment needs of individual, corporate and institutional investors.

Patrick and his business partner, Cole McCardel focus much of their Wealth Management efforts on auto enthusiasts. They work to provide unique value, opportunities and connectivity to individual collectors, racing communities (drivers, team organizations, and fans), vintage enthusiasts, historic vehicle related non-profits, as well as individual proprietors of specialized restoration and tuning shops.

Patrick and his team have developed a proprietary process to manage wealth tailored to the above client groups in a manner that reduces unnecessary risk, with a focus on tax efficiency. Most importantly, they account for their client’s automotive related assets in all aspects of the planning process. In addition to Patrick’s expertise in asset management, he works diligently to provide clients with the confidence, through partnering with other trusted family advisors, that the stewardship of their automotive related assets will continue their long lived legacy on the road or track.

Born into a Navy family in Monterey, California, Patrick moved many times growing up, both within and outside the continental U.S.. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in finance from the College of Charleston, in South Carolina. In addition to nearly 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, he has completed advanced training programs at the Wharton School of Business, and the Cannon Trust School at Northwestern University.

Patrick resides in Carmel, Indiana, and enjoys time in the mountains of North Carolina. His passions include boating, attending Concours events and races across the Country, and mostly spending time with his wife, Lisa, and their five daughters, Erin, Haley, Paige, Alyssa, Anna-Grace, and their grandchildren, Ashyr and Isobel.
